Still searching and waiting and wishing and praying! JOURNEY CONTINUES!!!
How often do we (men and women) pass up on a good thing because he/she may not be in a position of greatness at the moment? Most of us want to find someone who is financially secure and has it all together, but we often fail to see the potential. All of the great men and women began somewhere not so glamorous. Do you think Barack Obama or Oprah Winfrey started out where they are today? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! They had a dream and someone saw their potential. In fact, Michelle Obama supported Barack in the beginning of their marriage. She earned the majority of their household income! But she saw his potential and honored that potential! Oprah had very humble beginnings, but she had a dream and worked to bring it into fruition. Make sure you’re looking for the right things in a potential mate.
Today, make sure you tell the quality men and women in your life that you see their potential and you appreciate them for who they are! HONOR THEM!!!!
Black Love!!!!
“If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.” Who came up with that shit? Why can’t I be with the one I love? Why should anyone have to settle? Hmmm….STILL ON THE JOURNEY
